The Daniel Fast
Sunday, January 14 to February 3
Join ANEW on a 21-day fasting journey starting on Sunday, January 14th, as we start the year by committing to seek the Lord, humbling ourselves and drawing closer to God as we start this new year, carving out intentional time to be in prayer and the reading of His Word.
What is the Daniel Fast?
The Daniel Fast involves consuming a strict plant-based diet for the entire 21 days, avoiding animal products, leavened bread, added sugar, processed foods, caffeine, and alcohol. As well as carving out intentional time to be in prayer and the reading of His Word.
As part of our fast, we'll be hosting an hour-long online meeting every Sunday evening via Zoom, led by our founder, Ligia Andrade. We'll be praying, sharing, and reflecting on all that the Lord has done. It's going to be a great opportunity to connect virtually and support each other on our faith journey.
